About Me
My name is Mrs. Lori Baker and I will be your child’s fifth grade teacher. I have been a teacher in this district for 21½ years. I have taught second grade, third grade, k, 1, 2, multiage (On Harsens Island), and Physical Education. Before coming to the area I taught first grade in Eloy, Arizona for two years. Prior to that, I attended Arizona State University. I graduated in l987, the year ASU beat Uof M in the Rosebowl. I received my B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. In August of 2000 I finished my Master’s degree in the Art of Education from Marygrove College.
My family and I live in Clay Township. My husband is Scott-he is an aviator. My daughter Taylor graduated from MSU, (GO GREEN!) and she currently is at Rutger’s, studying law. My son is Max and he just receive his private pilot’s license and he is moving to Mesa Arizona to continue to prepare for a career in aviation. We rescued a chocolate lab mix about 3 years ago her name is Charlie. I love to boat, snowmobile and READ! I am also a sports enthusiast-GO MUSKRATS!.
Habit 3 — Put First Things First
Work First, Then Play
I spend my time on things that are most important. This means I say no to things I know I should not do. I set priorities, make a schedule, and follow my plan. I am disciplined and organized.
